Our consultants, educators, specialists and therapists are state licensed and certified professionals who are highly skilled in their specialties with many years of experience in their field.

Behavioral Specialists: specialize in collaborating with families  in evaluating and treating children with behavioral elements of childhood disorders that impair children’s development,  learning, daily living and social functions. Behavioral Specialists hold Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution in a related health, human service, or education field; AND has completed coursework from an accredited institution in behavioral methodology for children; AND has at least one year of documented professional experience implementing behavioral intervention programs for individuals from birth to five years of age who have developmental delays and disabilities.

Child Development Specialists: provide developmental intervention services to children with developmental delays by working one-on-one with children and families to help promote the acquisition of skills necessary for a child’s development. Child Development Specialists hold Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in a related health, human service, or education field; AND has at least one year of documented professional experience with individuals from birth to five years of age who have developmental delays and disabilities; OR at least six (6) credits in infant or early childhood development and/or special education coursework.

Consultants/Parent Advocates: provide educational suggestions and feedback to  improve students and families' educational experiences. Consultants advise families on a variety of educational needs and services available to them. We work diligently with families to ensure positive and ongoing partnership with their local schools to help their children to love learning and use their education  to succeed. All consultants hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher; AND certified by the New Jersey Department of Education as a Teacher pursuant to N.J.S.A. and N.J.A.C.

Educators: provides personalized literacy and mathematic instructions to children on various academic levels. All educators hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher; AND certified by the New Jersey Department of Education as a Teacher pursuant to N.J.S.A. and N.J.A.C.; AND has at least one year of documented professional experience in the classroom; OR at least six (6) credits in infant and toddler or early childhood development.

Physical Therapists: work with children to address developmental issues, such as gross motor skills, fine motor skills, sensory integration, balance, and cognitive function by helping children develop or regain the skills they need to move their bodies. Licensed Physical Therapist, State of New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety, Division of Consumer Affairs, Board of Physical Therapy pursuant to N.J.S.A. and N.J.A.C.; AND preferably has at least one year of documented professional experience with individuals from birth to five years of age with developmental delays and disabilities. This includes temporary licensure.

Occupational Therapists: provide treatment to help children overcome sensory challenges, improve self-care, play, and self-regulation skills to meet their developmental milestones.  Our occupational therapists help children in the areas of fine motor skills, cognitive skills, social emotional skills and activities of daily living. Licensed Occupational Therapist, State of New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety, Division of Consumer Affairs, Occupational Therapy Advisory Council pursuant to N.J.S.A. and N.J.A.C.; AND preferably has at least one year of documented professional experience with individuals from birth to five years of age who have developmental delays and disabilities. This includes temporary licensure.

Special Education Educators: specialize in helping children meet their developmental milestones by working diligently with children and  families to reinforce learning strategies through play, engaging and routine-based activities. Special Educators hold Bachelor’s degree or higher; AND certified by the New Jersey Department of Education as a Teacher with an endorsement as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities pursuant to N.J.S.A. and N.J.A.C.; AND has at least one year of documented professional experience with individuals from birth to five years of age who have developmental delays and disabilities; OR at least six (6) credits in infant and toddler or early childhood development.
